One of the specialties of Yurihama Town, where the Fukura Shuzo Brewery is located, is the 20th Century Pear, and near the brewery is a “Hyakunenju” tree, believed to be one of the first such trees.
The Hyakunenju was planted in 1906, and it continues to bear magnificent fruit to this day as a symbol of the town.
